ESC Squad Training Session: 18:00 - 19:30 Session / 17.09.20
Time & Location
About the Event
On the day and before the session begins, all fencers will need to complete an online pre-session health check, which can be found here. This is for the coach to be informed, but also so that contact details can be passed on to UK Government Test and Trace, should it become necessary. We recommend reading this before the day itself.
Timings will be 18:00 - 19:30 and 20:00 - 21:30. Please only book one timeslot each week in order to allow everyone a chance to fence.
Please arrive 'fencing ready' (ie in breeches or in cycling shorts under tracksuit bottoms) and try to use the toilet before you leave for the session. Parents/Guardians will not be able to enter the venue and will be expected to wait in the car park.
There will be hand sanisiter disinfectant wipes at entry/exit points, but we do prefer that fencers bring their own hand sanitiser with them. Fencers will also be asked to wear a face mask or face shield during the session.
The club will be following BFA guidelines and there will be a comprehensive update to the risk assessment as well as processes and procedures put in place to reduce risk as much as possible. These will be relayed to you via a 'Session Briefing' sent out as an email, but also available on the website here.
The situation is constantly being updated, but you should expect the session to be different to your previous experience of a fencing night. Fencing time is likely to be reduced and the intensity may be less than you are used to. The coaches will do their best to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and active night.
If all tickets have been sold, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the waiting list, which will also give you priority access to tickets the following week.
Normal refund policy will apply.
